Zoo Trip May 2007--Into the Wild

I have pictures that I have downloaded from my camera into the computer now. Hubby reimaged our hard drive so I was unable to download my pics for awhile now. Thanks hubby for fixing the computer. Now I can share our zoo photos with our friends and family. This year at Utah's Hogle Zoo, The Great Bayou has been at the zoo. Which is an albino allegator. Enjoy our pics.

Here the kids are popping up out of the dirt like prairie dogs.

Here the four kids can barely fit in a big egg together. They are growing up and soon won't be able to fit into little places together. Sad.

My four monkeys are soooo big now. Look and see.

Improving Our Talents

As mentioned earlier, Kierstie made the school play "Pirates of Penzance", she also found out yesterday that she made Show Choir. Kierstie is also involved in piano lessons and has now been learning quite a few songs in a three week timeframe.

Kaylynn and Cameron are both taking piano lessons as well. Ten minute practices twice per day. LOL...the kids are at the piano any and every chance they get. Can we say 50 times per day.

Cozette continues to practice her violin, but is excited that her sister's have been showing her how to play the piano as well.

I am excited that each of them have the desire to want to add music into their lives. I enjoyed my time of learning the piano and now share that talent often during family home evening as well as occassionally at church functions. I also have a guitar, now to just find time to learn it. Ha ha ha.

School in Session

A new school year has now begun. The kids were excited to go back, although I am not sure who was more ready, the kids or us parents.
Kierstie is an eighth grader and has alot of plans for this school year. She would like to tryout for many activities such as sports, musicals, and cheer. She has already tried out for the school musical, "Pirates of Penzance" and was excited to find out that she will be a pirate. She also tried out for show choir and made this as well.
Cozette is a sixth grader this year and would like to continue her knowledge of the violin through Arcadia's school orchestra. Her teacher is Mrs. Carol, who has been away from Arcadia for quite a few years and is now back. Who is very nice and loves art. Cozette is very excited about this, because as you all know she loves to draw.
Kaylynn is a third grader this year. Her teacher is Mrs. Mackey. Kaylynn's biggest hope for the school year is that her best friend Tehgan would be in her class. Kaylynn was pleasantly surprised to find out that her best friend is in her class and they have a seat by each other.
Cameron is a second grader and is very excited to keep learning. His teacher is Mrs. Crowther.
